INDEPENDENCE DAY.
(Pernetiana.)
A small flower, delightful in the bud stage, and very sweetly perfumed. It is vigorous in habit of growth, very free, and an excellent bedding and decorative rose, lasting well when cut. Should be moderately pruned about the second week in March. Introduced in 1919, and awarded the Gold Medal of the National Rose Society.
