American Rose Magazine - Volume 1919 - Page 100 Hybrid. Teas. Benedicte Seguin. (Pernet-Ducher.) Bud reddish apricot, shaded carmine; flowers large, full, globular, Roman ocher, shaded coppery orange. Foliage reddish, bronzy green. Strong, erect grower.

The Garden Magazine - Oct 1920 - Vol. 32, No. 2, Page 112 Mr. Pernet also received a certificate for “Benedicte Seguin.” The bud of this is almost scarlet but the developed flowers are pale tan and fawn. This is a very distinct type and undoubtedly will make a much better showing another season.
