Origin:
Bred by Alexander Dickson II (1857-1949) (United Kingdom, 1917).
Introduced in France by Grandes Roseraies du Val de la Loire in 1921 as 'Sunstar'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1922 as 'Sunstar'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Orange - yellow, crimson shading, vermilion veining.  Strong, honey fragrance.  Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright, well-branched.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Hardy.
