Book (1971) p153. Dr. A. S. Thomas, Victoria. The New Ones. Last year I remarked that 'Grand Amour' was "a German rose with a French name" and gave Kordes as the raiser. p153. Mr. W. G. Treloar, Victoria. The New Ones. Grand Amour A good bright red rose and it won several international awards last year.
Book (1970) p26. Roy and Heather Rumsey, NSW. New Roses. Grande Amour HT. The colour is light and bright with a touch of yellow at the base. Very sweetly scented, free flowering, and it is a good red.
