Tantôt solitaire, tantôt en bouquets légers, fleur à longue tige... grande corolle bien double, d’un rouge riche et profond, élégamment formée… parfum trop discret... rosier bien buissonnant, érigé, de hauteur moyenne, au feuillage ample et sain, vert franc. Dédié à l’auteur de «For Love of a Rose», qui raconte la fascinante histoire des pépinières Meilland, ce rosier est signé Marie-Louise Meilland, connue dans la profession sous le nom de Marie-Louise Paolino. Paolino, France, 1976…

Antonia Ridge ® Meiparadon
Rose Meilland 1976. Grâce à ses 30 pétales rouge groseille bien imbriqués, cette rose a une excellente tenue tout au long de son épanouissement. Elle fleurit abondamment. La plante, de hauteur moyenne, fleurit généreusement. Elle est particulièrement recommandée pour les massifs unicolores.

Antonia Ridge (Meilland). A very rich red with a yellow base to each petal.  A fairly large, open type flower of about 35 petals. Tall leggy growth and very thorny. Little or no fragrance.
