 …..cultivars which develop dieback before they are sold. Two illustrations of this latter loss include 'Lemon Chiffon' during the first year it was to be marketed by this company. It was included in that year's catalogue at novelty price and eighty plants were dug and heeled in ready for selling. Within a matter of days they had died back so badly they all had to be placed on the fire heap and destroyed.
