The scent on this one, to my nose, is similar to papa meilland’s — very powerful lemon on a base of weak tea. It’s not my favourite rose scent — too much sharpness and not enough sweetness — but it certainly packs a punch.

How is this rose associated with the name Sarah?

According to one of the References (see tab) it received the synonym 'Sarah' as a dedication to a Sarah Bentley of a rose nursery in Leicestershire, UK.

Looks lovely in the pics, but that number of synonyms for a fairly recent rose is inexcusable.

I guess I don't mind the plethora of names for the same rose, as long as the proper name is always made available by the seller. It makes me absolutely NUTS when I can't get the registration name from the seller. There is no excuse for that.

Someone please tell me if this is the rose fearured a few years ago in a Lancome cosmetics ad, if not , what was that rose. I've never seen anything that comes closer. STUNNING!!!
