I love the peach coloring that Softee gets in Southern California winters. It never fails to amaze me. Cut blooms last long in a vase, so I love that it flowers in the winter here. Photos were taken Jan 15, 2022.

Decidedly apricot-colored blooms on plant in late December. In warmer weather, blossoms typically fade from pale yellow to an off-white inside of a day. Generally a healthy plant, older leaves on mine nonetheless succumb to BS by the season's end in my no-spray Central Texas garden.
