Bred by Alister Clark (1864-1949) (Australia, 1939).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1939 as 'W.H. Dunallan'.

Bloom:
Rich bright red, flushed dark red.  Moderate fragrance.  10 to 12 petals.  Open bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Tall.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Heat tolerant.  rain tolerant.  This rose blooms on old wood.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
This rose was said to have excellent foliage, pronounced yellow stamens, and in cold weather the petals tended to flop inwards. Refer references.
