Coppelia 76 is definitely the pink version of Coppelia. In their books, Meilland calls it "light neyran pink". I think neyron is what Americans would call it, from the pink of Hybrid Perpetuals.

I’ve added that reference, but am still not sure what you mean Michael. The 1975/76 is said to be a floribunda and the 1952 is said to be a hybrid tea. We have:

Coppélia (hybrid tea, Meilland, 1952)
Coppélia '76 (floribunda, Meilland -1975)
Coppelia ® (hybrid tea, Meilland -2008)

Iv'e seen the photos in various placed mixed up, so I wanted to verify the exact color of the exact Coppelia types. And, sometimes pics of Christopher Columbus as Coppelia 76, which made it extra confusing. So it was just clarification from the breeder source itself.

And, also, clarification as to where a lot of Meilland's big hits come from. This floribunda produced a lot of commercially successful HTs, which made me want to clarify it even more. It's am important parent, including for one of the best red HTs out now, Grande Amore.

So, yeah, I wanted to clarify that such great HTs were actually coming from a rose that is a non-descipt pink floribunda, with non-descript form.
