Wee Beth, bred with friend Bob Cherry, was named for his younger daughter. It was used by Allan Read in his breeding and we grow Allan's 'Tutu' bred from it.

‘Wee Beth’. Eric Welsh, 1981. ‘Orange Silk’ x ‘Fairy Moss’. Miniature bush rose. Bud pointed and mossy. Semi-single, fragrant, small, salmon pink flowers with attractive stamens, in clusters, fully recurrent. Dark green foliage, small leaflets, bristles on reverse. Flower: 10 petals, 35 mm, 5 to 15. Small bush 0.4 m x 0.4 m.

Wee Beth. Modern, miniature, orange blend. Repeat-flowering. This variety has pointed, mossy buds that open to pinkish salmon flowers with about a dozen petals. These come mainly in small clusters and have a Sweet briar fragrance. The foliage is small and dark green and covers a compact bush that is vigorous and easy to grow. ‘Wee Beth’ gets it charm from the lovely orange blend, single-petalled blooms that are displayed through summer. Zones 5-10/ Cherry, Australia, 1981. (Parentage): ‘Orange Silk’ x ‘Fairy Moss’.
