Origin:
Bred by Samuel Darragh (1932-2019) McGredy IV (1979).
Introduced in New Zealand by McGredy Roses International (New Zealand) as 'Cup Final'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Orange or orange-red.  None to mild fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, upright.  Medium, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.  

Height: 4¼' to 5¼' (130 to 160cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Can be used for cut flower.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to rust .  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
