Origin:
Bred by Unknown (1810). Introduced in France by Cels frères in 1817 as 'Bengale à feuille de saule'.

China / Bengale, Species / Wild.
Bloom:
Deep pink. None to mild fragrance. 10 to 12 petals. Small, semi-double to double bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns. Glossy foliage.
