Magazine (7 Apr 1888) Page(s) 235. J. Cook, of Baltimore, has produced two new roses named Souvenir of Wootton and Anney Cook. The first is a red Hybrid Tea from Bon Silene and Louis Van Houtte. The flower is “perfectly double” and as sweet as La France, while the plant is vigorous. Anney Cook is a delicate shade of pink changing to white. This is a seedling from Bon Silene.
