My Liebeszauber is a second year plant grafted on multiflora from Palatine Roses. This is a monster grower and bloomer in Zone 5b Chicagoland. Very tall with long stems and plenty of red, moderately fragrant beauties. I am very pleased with this one.

My 7 year old bush routinely produces huge blooms at heights of 9-12 ft here in the Pacific NW. Gets taller than wide. This spring produced clusters of 4 to 5 with blooms 6 inches across- striking. Seems to like it’s late afternoon shade.

Others have mentioned that this rose can get tall. I've grown this rose for many years, and it has been tall (six feet or so), but this year I was surprised to see a strong cane at least ten feet in height with a beautiful, huge bloom at the tip. The plant is about nine years old.

I'd believe it. This rose is like Peace, Elina, etc. Complete giants. My Elina is 3' taller than me, and has 8-9" spring blooms. Its bizarre.

We are still waiting for ours to produce flowers that are not so small and waiting to see if the plant will burn up this year like it has the last two years. Love the pictures, though.

I LOVE this rose. It is flourishing and producing tons of huge beautiful blooms, with less thorns than many. The fragrance is moderate and delicious. I have it in full sun, it is in a well irrigated location, and I do nothing but give it a dose of Rose Tone at the beginning and the middle of the season. It has proven quite disease resistant (it is located near another rose, which is prone to black spot and seems pretty immune). I am far from an advanced rosarian, and this has be a huge success for me.

Ours is so sunburned that the leaves are dropping off. Has not produced a bloom since March, and it is now June 26th, 2014. This one is a huge disappointment given all the praise, and the beautiful pictures. The shovel is on its way to this one.
