p69. Terry Honeybun, Victoria.
Faience: Is a blending of golds and pinks that make a very pleasing rose. The shape and health are good. Has surely been overlooked

p88.  Mr. T. G. Stewart.  Decorative Varieties of Merit
Faience: This variety should be far better known. The colour is a combination of peach-apricot and yellow. The growth is excellent, the bloom full-bodied, and it is a free bloomer. Unfortunately, artificial light such as that in the Melbourne Town Hall kills it, but as grown in the garden it is outstanding.  It is a garden Rose and would be suitable for bunches but not for specimen blooms.
Book  (1939)  Page(s) 133.

Mr John Poulsen, NZ.  Canterbury Roses
Faience.- Fair growth, flowering freely. A lovely variety which seems to open well in any weather. If hardy, it should have a very good future.
Book  (1938)  Page(s) 98.

S.R. Bird.  Auckland Roses.
Faience is one of the most beautiful bronze and gold combinations we have had, and a vase of this variety is something to remember.
Website/Catalog  (1938)  Page(s) 19.

Bush Roses
Faience (Hybrid Tea)... Mixed colour of peach and apricot, reverse of the petals is pure yellow, and this contrast of colours gives a great attraction to the well-formed bud and the large flowers. Habit as "Charles P. Kilham" but stronger. Continuous flowering. With us, "Faience" has proved to be the best of this fancy colour section. Recommended. Introduced 1936.
Website/Catalog  (1938)  Page(s) 44.

New Roses 1937. Faience (HT.  Van Rossem 1935) 3.  A particularly attractive variety with long pointed, double blooms of good shape and size.....fairly good foliage.  E.

p19.  Harry H. Hazlewood.  The New Roses of 1937.
Faience (or Fayence), HT. (Van Rossem, 1935) A very attractive variety, with 35 petals, but only moderate growth so far. It may improve in this respect and, if so, will be very popular.

p115.  Allan A. Brundrett.  A Victorian Review of the Season's Novelties.
Faience, H.T. (Van Rossem). The inside of the petals is a wonderful mixture of peach and apricot, and the reverse is yellow. The buds and half-open flowers are very bright and most attractive. Being a good grower, it should be one of the best of the fancy shades.
