Captain Philip Green (thé). — Fleur grande, pleine, érectée, grands pétales.  Coloris crème dans le genre de Marie Van-Houtte; beau bouton allongé, uniflore, jaune paille carminé, porté sur une longue tige.  Beau feuillage, bois fort, aiguillons forts.  Arbuste très vigoureux, très florifère.  Odorante. — Marie Van-Houtte X Dêvoniensis.

At Golfe-Juan, Messrs. P. and C. Nabonnand, rose-growing horticulturalists, offer for sale five new roses as named below:
Captain Philip Green (Tea). — A large, full flower, held upright and having thick petals.  It is a cream color like that of Marie Van-Houtte with a fine, elongated bud, produced singly, of a pale yellow shaded carmine, and supported by a long stem.  The foliage is handsome, and the wood is strong, as are the prickles.  A very vigorous and very floriferous plant.  Fragrant. — Marie Van-Houtte X Devoniensis.
