Introduced in France by Jean Laffay as 'Miralba'.
Introduced in France by Jean-Pierre Vibert in before 1837 as 'Chévrier'.
Introduced in Australia by Giles and Son in 1881 as 'Miralba'.

Class:

Hybrid China, Hybrid Gallica.

Bloom:

Dark purple, crimson shading. Mild fragrance. Average diameter 2". Small to medium, full (26-40 petals), expanded bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.

Habit:

Small foliage.

Growing:

USDA zone 7b and warmer.
