Ms. Mary is named for my very dear friend, Ms. Mary Secord. This wonderful lady was fond of this generous plant, when it was still a test rose; so, I decided that it should be named for Tiny Petals Nursery's best friend. Without her constant attention and concern for preserving Mom's memory, many of the Dee Bennett roses never would have survived the passing of the nursery.

As for the namesake rose, this is wonderful plant for a container or as low growing garden display mini. The healthy plant make a great show of apricot blooms with a pale yellow reverse. The blooms are borne one-to-a-stem and in sprays. The flowers last for days on the bush or a cut bouquets.

Been trying to get this rose since 2001. Now that she is available... I forgot to order. Thanks for the reminder, description and bit of history.
