Is this the same as Schoener's Nutkana? If so, then Nutkana was the seed parent. And Nicolas used it as seed parent of 'Leonard Barron'.

The available references state that R. nutkana was the pollen parent, although the name seems to indicate the opposite. Also, 'Nutneyron' is stated to be semi-double, while 'Schoener's Nutkana' is single. Schoener might have tried the cross both ways. On the other hand, the statement that Nicolas used this rose for breeding is puzzling, as all references speak of 'Schoener's Nutkana' being used. Some more contemporary references are needed for clarification.
