'Santa Maria'. Cluster Flowered. The Columbus quincentennial might create a revival of interest in this 1969 McGredy creation, but where will the marketing people buy their plants of 'Santa Maria'? It has disappeared from the world's catalogues. If they do find it, they will be rewarded by masses of bright orange-red flowers, borne on compact bushes with dark green foliage, marooon-tinted in its youth. 'Evelyn Fison' x ('Ma Perkins' x 'Moulin Rouge'). Repeat flowering.
