Moonbeam, (AUSbeam) is described here as "Apricot or apricot blend", but I think she would be better categorized as white or cream.
Vintage Gardens describes it as "pale apricot in the bud, opening moonlight-cream".
David Austin Roses describes it as "glowing white".

Landperson.......
Did you click on the REFERENCES tab on the rose page ? It is possible that Austin has re-used the name for a newer rose. Most of the REFERENCES describe the rose as "apricot"

I hadn't looked at the references before, but I did just now, and they seem pretty consistently to refer to the buds as apricot but the flowers as creamy white....
I went back and looked at the Austin reference again and it says Moonbeam is "white tinged with apricot".
I was trying to figure out which of two of my white roses might be Moonsprite and which might be Moonbeam (both of which I have bought and planted, but both of the likely candidates have lost their id tags). Neither of mine is in bloom now, so the identification issue is moot for me until next Spring, and maybe neither of the roses in question is Moonbeam. So....I'll just let it rest for now.

I haven't checked the Austin site, but I did check Modern Roses 12 and 'Ausbeam' was registered as an apricot blend. Some of the references say "pale apricot" and if you are in a climate that gets very hot, my guess is that the rose may age to white.

And last night I looked up a picture of Moonbeam in the Vintage Gardens Book of Roses and that "hint of apricot" is nowhere to be seen. The pictures for that book were taken locally I'm quite sure, and our temps are not particularly hot (at least never for long).
I do see that some of the pictures on the Moonbeam Photos page do definitely show that hint of apricot, but I would love to see more pictures of this rose from other people's gardens. And of course now I can't wait for Spring to see what my two really look like.
Thanks for taking the time to check on this for me, Lyn.
