posts not appearing - tried to post on Sonia Rykiel comments but it just disappears. Has happened on a couple of others a few days ago as well.

Female parent is probably Abraham Darby. The parentage is flipped, but its still likely it. Besides, Yellow Cushion is a pretty rare rose. Why would someone go out of their way to replicate a winning rose, but with a less efficient seed parent? Seems unlikely.
Really weird.
Who knows?

This is my 4th year of having Sonia Rykiel, bought as own-root from Roses Unlimited. It's my favorite among the 130+ varieties that I grew in zone 5a. The scent is delightful & powerful fruity & YUM. Even the leaves smell good, like raspberry-rose. The bush has much less thorns than typical Austin roses. Highly recommend for the beauty of the bush, beauty of bloom, and the great scent.

The incorrect 'Aloha' is listed as a parent.

Thanks for contacting us about this error - we have several roses named 'Aloha', can you tell us which one is appropriate ?

I do not have any knowledge of the exact one, but it is definitely one that was bred prior to 1991, and it is likely the same one used for Abraham Darby, since Yellow Cushion is also the same parent, and it appears that these hybrids may have been shared.

I think Clarence House falls under this, too, especially since Beales used the original Aloha in other works.
