Bloom:
Rose-pink. Strong, sweet fragrance. 5 to 7 petals. Medium, single (4-8 petals), in large clusters bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Habit:
Arching, dense, spreading. Dark green foliage.
Height: up to 6'7" (up to 200cm). Width: 6' (185cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Parentage uncertain, whether hybrid of or arvensis. See References. Older botanical references describe Andersoni as long ago as 1840, often as a "variety" or hybrid of R. arvensis. If anyone who knows whether these are all one naturally occurring hybrid or different hybrids, please post a comment here. Plants in cultivation in W. Germany under this name are nearly always R. collina 'Andersonii' according to Krüssmann.
