Origin:
Bred by Ronald J. Bell (Australia, before 1975).
Introduced in Australia by Brundrett's The Rose People in 1977 as 'Marjorie Atherton'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Yellow.  Creamy or maize yellow, fades paler. A rounded bloom, becoming ruffled as it ages.  Mild to strong fragrance.  25 to 40 petals.  Average diameter 4.25".  Large, very large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Medium, bushy, upright.  Large, glossy, light green, leathery foliage.  

Height: 4'11" to 5¼' (150 to 160cm).  Width: 39" to 4¼' (100 to 130cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for cut flower, exhibition or garden.

Notes:
Ron Bell named this rose after his sister.
