p254. Herbert Brunning – A brilliant red Hybrid Tea released in 1940 and named in honour of a well-known rosarian. This rose came to me from Brunning’s grandchildren Judy Clark and Ken Dean who have had it growing in Sydney since their grandfather’s day. As it came from his family it can be assumed that the name is correct but we cannot verify our plant until it flowers.
