Origin:
Bred by Charles-FĂ©lix Verdier (1829-1893) (France, 1864).
Introduced in Australia by J. Graham & Co. in 1874 as 'Duchesse de Caylus'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Carmine-pink.  Moderate fragrance.  Small to medium, double (17-25 petals), globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Dense foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
