'Gisborne 2000' (MATTgis) is a very good yellow with some fragrance although it tends to act more like a floribunda with large clusters of bloom.

'Gisborne 2000' (MATTgis) Matthews 2000; 5 reports on 19 bushes; 1-2 years; 1.5 metres; 7.3 rating. Yellow blooms. Fittingly Gisborne says nice rose. Marlborough has strong growth and the flowers need disbudding. Just another yellow they say. Otago says lovely yellow fading to lemon, like 'Grandpa Dickson'. A large frilly flower which they are happy with. Wairoa also like the lovely bright colour.
