'Gribaldo Nicola' rose Reviews & Comments

Failed to thrive after three years. Put a couple long canes but did little flowering. Beautiful flowers, but only once per year for me. Absolutely shuts down in the heat here in central Texas. Late freezes may affect flowering as well. Culled in summer 2020. Too bad - The flowers I did get were really nice with great fragrance.

Gribaldo Nicola is the name of a plant and seed company that, according to an advertisement published on Costa azzurra Agricola floreale 1928, at that time had “100 anni di vita”. It was and still is active in Padova, Italia. The owner who named the firm was born in 1824 and died in 1901.
