Origin:
Bred by Alexander Dickson II (1857-1949) (United Kingdom, 1925).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1926 as 'Scarlet Glory'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Vermilion - scarlet.  Moderate fragrance.  Medium to large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy, well-branched.  

Height: 2' to 32" (60 to 80cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Vigorous.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
