Good rose this one. Don't have it yet, but am pretty keen to get one, having seen it several times at the Mornington Botanical Rose Garden, in Victoria, Australia. The first few times I saw it there I saw its name (Perfume Perfection- it's also sold as "Bonnie Babes" here in Aus) so i went and smelled it, expecting it to smell really good, but didn't really smell anything and was disappointed (they were often hot days, though, so the fragrance may have evaporated by the time I got there), but I kept on reading in various places how good the perfume is supposed to be, so I eventually sniffed it again late one evening when I was there and finally got it. I really liked it and picked one to take home and put in a vase. Over the next few days I kept on smelling it and was able to smell the perfume easily this time and I have to say it's one of the best and most unique fragrances I've smelled in any rose. For such a small rose, the fragrance is also very strong. If you put one in a small vase/glass that's a little big for it, letting it slip down below the top (of the glass/vase), the fragrance fills the whole vase/glass, which seems to magnify it! I was then at a local spring rose show a couple of months ago and was chatting to someone else there and he commented on how much he loved the smell of this variety as well, saying it was one of the most unique fragrances he'd smelled and that he really wanted to get one. It also looks to be very prolific, with the ones I've seen having huge sprays of blooms on them and they're very pretty, as the pics on here show.

The present invention relates to a new and distinct variety of rose plant of the floribunda class which was originated by me by crossing an unnamed seedling (`MORchari`, U.S. Plant Pat. No. 5,975.times.`TINherb` (also known as `Herbie`), U.S. Plant Pat. No. 6,787), with the variety `KORblue`, U.S. Plant Pat. No. 3,846.
So, [(Sweet Chariot x Herbie) x Shocking Blue].
