Lady Augusra Yorke is a main character in "The Channings", a novel by english author Ellen (Mrs. Henry) Wood (née Price)(1814-1887), published 1862, The French translation "Les Channing" in 1864 mentions "Madame Yorke".

'Madame Yorke" was also a court milliner in London.

It appears that some obstacles have been placed in the way of the accountants, and it is not unlikely that these will necessitate other steps being taken."
