Where was "Conyers" found - or why was it named so? It is classed as a Bermuda rose but I have not noted any references to this rose in the Bermuda (roses) literature.

[later edit - four minutes later!!]. Obviously a Bermuda rose. There is a reference in "Pacific" to a Bermudian sea captain, Samuel Conyers Nelmes (1777-1867).
