Bred by Fr. Ries (Germany, 1919).
Introduced in Germany by Victor Teschendorff in 1919 as 'Königin Viktoria von Schweden'.

Bloom:
Light yellow, lighter reverse, undertones, ages to salmon-pink .  Moderate fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Dense, few or no prickles/thorns, upright.  Glossy foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
