Bloom: Deep yellow.  Sweet fragrance.  Semi-double to double bloom form.   
Habit: Suckers on its own roots.  Small foliage.  
 Height: 47" to 6'7" (120 to 200cm).
 
Growing: USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).   
Patents: Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind). 
Notes: See References for different views of the parentage of this rose, Graham Stuart Thomas suggesting it is related to Harison's Yellow and therefore a Hybrid Spinosissima.Originated at the  Arboretum in Angers before 1902 and in commerce by 1927.
