Bloom:
White or white blend. Flowers white with yellow-pink center. Strong, myrrh, sweet fragrance. Average diameter 4.25". Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, cupped, old-fashioned, quartered bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Medium, rounded buds.
Habit:
Medium, bushy. Medium, glossy, dark green foliage.
Height: up to 47" (up to 120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .

Notes:
Tim Clapp of Mattocks Roses says, "one of the best roses for disease resistance, 'Fragrant Memories' has only had a sniff of fungicide and remains completely disease free. It has a superb fragrance and is ideal at the back of my mixed border." blackfly reports: 'Fragrant Memories" is very similar in flower to the David Austin roses that I have. It appears to be disease-resistant, but only time will tell. So far, it is a lovely rose and I don't think you would be disappointed with it.
