Bred by Robert Türke (Germany, 1932).
Introduced in Germany by J. C. Schmidt / Blumenschmidt in 1932 as 'Goldener Traum'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1934 as 'Goldener Traum'.

Class:

Hybrid Rugosa, Shrub.

Bloom:

Golden-yellow to apricot. Moderate fragrance. Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped bloom form. Occasional repeat later in the season.

Habit:

Upright. Dark green, leathery, wrinkled (rugose) foliage.

Height: 6½' (200cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 4b through 9b. Hardy.
