It was a nightmare. It's like taking care of 'The Vampire' on steroids. It defoliates, and only blooms once.
I can think of far nicer "rock garden" type roses, and wouldn't mind giving out suggestions if anyone asks just out of empathy over the thought of having to manage such a rose and then being disgusted with roses.
