From 1913 series of Wills's cigarette cards (No 70) Text on reverse of card: MRS. CORNWALLIS WEST. (Hybrid Tea.) The blooms are full and perfect, with firm shell-shaped petals which gracefully reflex from the high pointed centre, and are freely produced upon well-furnished stems. It is vigorous in habit, quite hardy, and as an exhibition rose it is indispensable. Introduced in 1911, and awarded the Gold Medal of the National Rose Society.
