Bred by Mathias Tantau (1882 - 1953) (Germany, 1931).
Introduced in Germany by Rosen-Tantau/Tantau Roses in 1936 as 'Indra'.

Climber, Large-Flowered Climber.  
Bloom:
Rose-pink, ages to white .  Mild fragrance.  Average diameter 3.5".  Medium to large, semi-double (9-16 petals), ruffled bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Climbing.  

Height: up to 6'7" (up to 200cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
