p54. ….As in Mme. Butterfly there are many sports of Columbia of somewhat similar appearance. August Noack, Europa, and Frau Luise Lindecke are sometimes quite dark, almost a light red. Lucinda, Columbia Supreme, New Columbia, Scott’s Columbia, Rose Hill, Silver Columbia and J. K. B. Roos vary slightly from the original, but in our testing, Briarcliff appears to be more free from the crippled flower tendency than the parent.
