Freckles is extremely hardy and winter-resistant, especially as I was able to purchase it--on its own roots. I found this rose at Great Lakes Roses in Belleville, Michigan. Their website is www.greatlakesroses.com, and they have many varieties of Buck roses for sale. They do not do mail order, however, they will deliver in their climate-controlled van. This is a great nursery to visit--don't miss it!
I also purchased my Freckles and many other Buck, Explorer and Morden roses from Great Lakes Roses. I am happy Nancy and Roger are retired but I will miss them and their fabulous roses forever.
