Book (1949) p42. Dr. A. S. Thomas. Let Us Take Stock - Old and New Margot Anstiss (4 plants, 1 year). Large heavy specimen blooms made up of thin papery petals that will not open. This is disappointing as it is a lovely soft pale pink with even colouring throughout - a colour we need. Free blooming: Low growing but vigorous. It may be a very good rose in a better climate.

Very large flowers of rich satin pink of an unusual shade, but the petals are rather thin and will probably ball in wet weather. The parentage is said to be 'F. K. Druschki' x 'The Doctor'. 5/- each.
