Novelties of 1903. Recently Introduced Roses.
Boadicea. (T.S.) Flowers pale peach colour delicately tinted with pink and violet, the centre richly shaded with rose, an exceedingly beautiful and chaste blending of colours; large, full, high-centred of fine elongated form with large stiff petals; absolutely distinct from any rose present in cultivation; and by far the finest in its way of colour.  Growth vigorous, habit free and effective, flowers very fragrant. A magnificent exhibition flower and at the same time a most effective garden variety, the constitution of the plant being excellent, and the flowers produced in great profusion both in summer and autumn.
