Introduced in France by Philibert Boutigny in 1893 as 'Madame Edmond Laporte'.

Bloom:
White, pink reverse.  Very large, double (17-25 petals), cupped-to-flat, semi-globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Climbing.  Glossy, dark green foliage.  5 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Very vigorous.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).

Daniel Lemonnier states that this rose was a cultivar of Garçon and is identical with 'Mme Louis Ricard'
