Bred by Alister Clark (1864-1949) (Australia, 1930).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1930 as 'Mrs. Norman Watson'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Cl., Large-Flowered Climber.
Bloom:
Deep pink.  Cherry-pink.  None / no fragrance.  Very large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Climbing.
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
This rose was named after a Geelong, Victoria, florist and the proceeds from the sale of the rose were donated to the Geelong Horticultural Society.

The great grandmother (or great grand seed parent) was 'Frau Karl Druschki', which may explain the large petals and the lack of fragrance in this rose. However, Mrs. Watson’s family have some doubts about the veracity of the rose in commerce in Australia
