Bred by Joseph Pernet-Ducher (France, before 1929).
Introduced in France by Jean-Marie Gaujard in 1930 as 'Rosella Sweet'.
Introduced in United States by Henry A. Dreer Archive in 1930 as 'Rosella Sweet'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Deep pink, golden-yellow shading, darker center.  Strong fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).

Notes:
'Rosalie' and 'Rosella Sweet' are possibly distinct roses. The name change was actually from 'Rosella' to 'Rosella Sweet' and not from 'Rosalie' as reported by "Modern Roses".- see References.
