Jamaica: Linquist H.T. 1966 LINja 457 - Jamaica was ranked 14/100 points from the winner of the AARS 1965. she was very close to her to take the first prize! It was born from a seed of Charlotte Amstrong x Floribunda Nocturne (?). Jamaica is a bright, sparkling hybrid of Tea that is this sunny Caribbean island. It produces large cherry red flowers on long stems. Its bright color contrasts so as to stand out with the dark green leaf and green-blue stems. The bud gives life to a flower of 35 finely edged petals. The shrub has abundant and erect vegetation. It blooms easily.
Bud: medium length and pointed
Flower: double, 12 cm in diameter. It consists of 35 petals in the form of a bowl.
Vegetation: upright, free and vigorous. The stems are of medium thickness.
Flowering: very re-flowering rose bush. Uninterrupted flowering from July to August.
Bouquet: delicate.
