Bred by Frank L. Riethmuller (1884-1965) (Australia, 1962).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1963 as 'Filagree Pillar'.

Class:

Hybrid Tea, Cl., Large-Flowered Climber.

Bloom:

Deep pink. Strong fragrance. 50 petals. Very full (41+ petals) bloom form.

Habit:

Climbing, upright.

Height: 5' (150cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for pillar.

Patents:

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).

Parentage:

Titian × Sterling

Notes:

Possibly named after the horse Filigree was born in Australia in 1941, racing circa 1943–46. Refer comments.
