OK, mine may have sported? She's positively a climber and just keeps going. She keeps growing long and stops reblooming! But she's also in poor sun, so maybe that's why I don't get good frequency.

I don't know what's up with her, but if you want a possibly once-blooming, lovely weepy climber, she's your girl :) I do like her. She does bloom (at least once) in a pretty shady spot for a rose. I'll keep her, but I think she's a weird one, lol.

Stretching for light (elongating) is common for too shady situations. So is reduced flower quantity.

My Juliette Greco is very pretty, but she's huge! In my 7a-7b NC climate, she has made clear that she is a climber after a few years. There's not much controlling her, as her basal breaks are fast and furious :) So if you need a pretty cupped pale yellow climber, she'll do nicely! The way her basals are growing, she's a fairly tall climber at that. Minimum 8', with pruning, I'd say.
